Hi I’m Rebecca.

rebecca I’m a mother of three amazing boys. My first 2 were born in 2010 and 2011, 13 months apart, and baby number 3 was born in 2014.   I have a passion for taking a holistic approach to life – embracing the mind, body and spirit. I believe in peaceful , mindful parenting, natural living, whole, organic foods and sustainability

I guess my journey, like most everyone’s, has been transitional the whole way through. I was blessed at a young age to be immersed in the world of Martial Arts which was where I first really started to grow into my own natural rhythms – being able to place understanding and experience with what I had felt my whole life. After training for over 12 years I was able to have a firm grasp of the mind, body, spirit connection and applied that to my everyday life.

Becoming a mother, I believe, was the most pivotal aspect of my own journey thus far.  With the birth of my children, came the rebirth of my own true personal calling – to be a mother. Not only a mother to my children, but to all living things that may bless my life – plants, animals, people… we are all connected and in essence, all family.  My nature is to nurture, support and grow.

I was blessed to move to the country shortly after my first son was born and my passions unraveled from there. When in season, I like to grow as much organic food as possible, involving my children of course in everything we do. I’m an avid fermenter and food preserver – fermenting and preserving just about anything I can get my hands on.  After learning that food truly is medicine doing over a year of gut healing using the GAPS program, we’ve been able to transition very successfully to a plant-based diet  (as well as organic eggs we eat from our own pastured feathered friends) We have our own chickens, ducks and heritage turkeys we have raised from chicks and they are such a part of our family and our journey to sustainability.

I adore sharing my knowledge and experience to help encourage and empower others on their own personal journeys. Ultimately, we are all here with our own unique experiences we can share with the world, and I’m thrilled to do so with you. Some of which I wish to share may or may not resonate with you.  Please enjoy either way with an open mind and an open heart, and I hope I can inspire your family as you all inspire me.  May Conscious Crunch be a stepping stone on your path as you continue to do your own personal research, work with your health care professionals and do what feels right for you and your family. With that, let’s get started… let’s connect, learn and share together.
